BERLIN, April 10. Herr Stinnes’ life amt death struggle is taking place in a nursing home in West Berlin. He was admitted a few weeks ago, suffering from a troublesome internal complaint. He was operated on, but had a serious relapse last week. He underwent a second severe operation, but high fever has since intervened. The family has been called to the bedside.
Later.—Herr Stinnes is suffering from gallstones. Consternation has been created on the Bourse, where shares are dropping, especially in the Stinnes companies, some being 10 per cent, lower. (Received April 11, 10.35 a.m.) BERLIN, April 10. Obituary: Herr Stinnes.
