NAGE. (Australian mid N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 28. The Shipping Board has asked for bids on 1335 vessels, including the Leviathan and sister ships, also freighters, tankers, tugs, refrigerators, launches, barges and concrete craft. Bids must be submitted by March 14. Notable among the fleet are sixteen passenger vessels of the 535 foot class, whereof ten, operating between Pacific Coast and the Orient, are sought by the Dollar Line and Pacific Mail Steamship Company.
