CANADIAN IMMIGRATION.
' UNDER. SERIOUS SUSPICION. (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Australian aud N.Z. Cable Association.) OTTAWA, Feb. 2. The suicides of threo English immigrants recently, one being a girl domestic in the employ nf Admiral Charles Kingmill here, are all surrounded in mystery, which has caused a Governmental inquiry to determine whether the conditions surrounding immigration are favorable. The jurors attending the inquest on .deceased, which included two youths of 17 and 18 years, passed resolutions demanding trTat more attention be paid to immigrants after they have settled in Canada and that the policy of bringing new-comers and thence abandoning them be immediately brought to a halt. It is rumored that the English Government has also made inquiries concerning tho case which, in a definite manner, appears to have placed the Dominion's immigration policy under serious suspicion.
