JAPANESE SQUADRON.
ARRIVAL IN AUSTRALIA. (Received Jan. 3, noon.) PERTH, Jan. 3. Vice-Admiral Saito, commander of tho visiting Japanese naval training squadron, at a State luncheon, said he had convoyed Australian troops to France and Egypt. Such friendship between the British and Japanese should continue for the sake of the world’s peace.
