INSULIN TREATMENT.
DEATH. OF BOY PATIENT. (Special Sun Cable.) (Received January 3, 9.40 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Jan. 2. Jack Keighley, a little Johannesburg bov who was rushed to England for insulin treatment, and whose reported complete cure of diabetes caused a stir,_ has died, llis father, interviewed, said the boy died in diabetic coma, not from the effects of insulin. His health was quite normal up to a fortnight before his death. Alarming symptoms developed on Monday. A blood test was taken, but the boy died in a few hours. The father emphasised that he was satisfied with the insulin treatment.
