A REJUVENATED BULL.
SUCCESSFUL OPERATION; IN
ARGENTINA
VoronofFs methods have-been applied with apparently complete success by Dr. Coppola Corbiere, an Argentine veterinary surgeon, in the case of an old and valuable bull, which is said to be entirely rejuvenated. The .gland was taken from a. young bull caff, and Dr. Oorbiere holds that sucb an operation is more natural than the transplanting of the glands of a monkey to a human being. Nino days after the operation, says "La Epoca," the veterinary surgeons oT La Plata, the) provincial capital of the province or Buenos Aires, pronounced the animal restored.
Dr. Corbiere, speaking of the value of the process, said that he believed the Voronoff method would soon be generally in use on the Argentine estaneias. The operation is simple l and inexpensive, and done so rapidly that there are few risks, while the fact that the animal to be treated would, without it, have passed his period, of usefulness, really removed all risks.
Santa Rafaela, where the restored Imll is on exhibition, is being visited daily by numbers of popple, anxious to verify the success of the operation.
