The Arab urn, which reached Auekliunl at 3.45 p.m., is to leave Auckland at f> p.m. to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. On arrival here she will bo tendered with one launch for inward and out ward passengers, leaving later for Napier. The Kamo is being despatched from Napier at 7 p.m. this evening with the balance of her cargo of southern produce. It is expected that the vessel will complete discharge ami loading tomorrow, when she will sail for Dunedin direct. There she loads again for Gisborne, via Ou.inaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and "Wellington. The U.S.S. Go., agents for the A. and A. Line, advise that the City of Birmingham is to sail from New York on the Ist prox. for Auckland, Wellington, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Sydney.
The War Lord arrived in the bay this morning from Whakatanc. The Huanui is expected to leave tonight for Auckland.
The Tiron left Tlicks Bay on Saturday morning for Kaukokorc, and was due in Auckland yesterday. She is expected to leave the latter port this evening for Gisborne. The Ripple sailed from Gisborne on Saturday afternoon,,■ and arrived in Wellington at 2 a.m. this morning. She is expected to leave to-morrow night for Napier and Gisborne. The Awahou left yesterday afternoon for Auckland, via Coast ports. She is due at Auckland on Thursday, . and loads for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay, and Gisborne. The Union Company's staff-has commenced temporary repairs to the British India Company’s steamer Naringa, which was damaged about the stern last Tuesday by being struck by the harbor ferry boat Muritai. The Naringa is having a few rivets renewed i and some seams are being re-caulked, ! to enable her to proceed on her voyage, j The temporary repairs will cost about ! .Clno. The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but southerly prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer has a rising tendency.
