Mr. G. L. Jenness, who died l last week, was one of Wellington's oldest business men. Born in Wellington 77 years ago, he served, his time at tho Watchmaking trade, and' afterwards founded a business. Ho retired! from business in 1891. A prominent Rechabite, he was the old'est member of the Order in the Dominion. One of the sons is Mr. Diamond Jenness, the Wellknown scientist, who took part in the Stefansson Polar exploration and! is now at Victoria Museum, Canada. Thousands of motbera know the value
