MURDER AND SUICIDE.
I LONDON, April 24.—A verdict of murder and of suicide while of unsound '.mind was returned at an inquest at Wandsworth on a, bookmaker and his wife who were found shot dead in their X'GSIcICTICC. '' In a letter the bookmaker wrote that he had 'been unsuccessful, that backers owed him £I2OO, and "unable to stand it any longer" he was taking his "poor wife with him. Tho coroner, sympathising with the bookmaker, said that the time was coining when the State must supervise betting transactions.
