ROYAL PRINCES PAY TAX ON ONE

FIFTH OF INCOME,

LONDON, March 17.—The Chancellor of the Exchequer states that income tax is paid on one-fifth of tho amounts received by princes of royal blood put of public revenue. The assumption is that four-fifths of the allowances sanctioned by Parliament are absorbed by expenses in the performance of public duties, such expenses not being taxable.
