WELLINGTON:, last night, Mr John Fraser, general manager of the New Zealand Meat, Producers' Hoard, has been deputed by the Board to inquire into thi? conditions of the meat trade in the Argentine and elsewhere, and the possibilities of new markets. Mr Fraser leaves Wellington on Wednesday morning for the Argentine and subsequently goes to London. He lias been appointed to" 'his present position because of his intimate knowledge of the meat trade in New Zealand. It is hoped' that his investigations will materially benefit tho meat producers.
