Lothrop Stoddard, the American writer on soeialogical questions, addressing the Englishspeaking Union. "Arid they know it," he added. Their racial life'is at stake, and! they would be swamped from Asia." Mr. Lothrop Stoddard's books, "The Hiding Tide of Color against White Supremacy" (1920), and "The New World of Islam" (1921), have been widely read. His latest publication deals with the revolt of the "inferior man" against civilisation.
