THE LINE RECOMMENDATION. (Per Press Association.l WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Public Works stated to-day in connection with the Itimutaka deviation, that the engineer would recommend that a line be constructed from Cross Creek through a tunnel to the existing line near Mungaroa, This scheme was by far the cheapest and most practicable of all those proposed.
