Speaking at the Dairy Farmers' Union Conference, Mr. Jessep, the vicechairman of the Meat Control Board, referred to the Imperial Economic Conference to be held in London in October. He believed that no ,confeienco ever held would be of such great, importance to the Empire, particularly to the people of the Dominion, as the Economic Conference. "At the conference the question of trade within the Empire will be dealt with," he. said, "I know from personal experience gained while in England, where I came into contact with the British Premier and other prominent people, ibis movement is growing by leaps and bounds in Britain." Mr. Jessep suggested that it was their duty to impress upon members of Parliament to see that the Prenfier was enabled to represent the Dominion.
