CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER

The preliminary hearing of charges of manslaughter against Thomas Francis Bailey as the result of the death at Karori of a boy, thirteen years of age, Herbert Reginald Johnston, through the latter being knocked down by a motor car driven by accused, occupied tho Court to-day. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £IOO was allowed.
