FLIGHT ROUND WORLD.
PROPOSALS APPROVED
LONDON, April 14.-Tho Director of Civil Aviation (Major-General Sir Win. Braneker) has approved of plans for a new world flight to be made by Gapt. MacMillan and Capt. Malins, whose machine broke down in the Bay of Bengal while they were attempting a worldflight last year.
They propose to continue their journey from the Bay of Bengal by way of Japan, the Kiiriles, Kamschatka, "the Aloutian Islands, South Alaska, and VUncouyciythonoe across Canada pud the United States to New York. They will then fly by way,of Halifax, Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, the Shetlands and Scotland lo London.
PORTUGUESE PROPOSALS. LONDON, April 15.—Admiral Couiiuho and Commander Oabral are making plans to circumnavigate the world in a hydroplane, following tho route of Magellan, says the Lisbon correspondent of tho Times.
