The Araluua arrived back from Napier this morning. She was being tendered at 4 p.m, to-day with the launch for outward passengers, afterwards steaming for Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay. The ship is to leave Auckland on Tuesday next, reaching Gisborne, via Tokomaru Bay, on Wednesday. She proceeds on to Napier on Wednesday night, arriving back at'Gisborne on Friday morning, sailing for Auckland us soon as she has been tendered. It will thus bo seen that the Arahura omits the usual intermediate trip between Gisborne and Napier. The unfavorable weather has delayed the transference of coal on board the steamer Admiral Codrington. Had it not been for the delay this work would have been finished by now. Owing to the weather conditions the ship proceeded under Young Nick’s Head yesterday afternoon for shelter. When the conditions clear the balance of the coal will bo shifted, and it is hoped to be able to commence loading Homeward cargo within, a few clays’ time. It is anticipated that the vessel will be dispatched henco for Napier towards tho end of next week.
Tho Ngahero was discharging coal at Tokomaru Bay to-day, but owing to bad weather she will be obliged to ovcrcarry approximately 200 tons to Greymouth, where she is to load for Wellington. Tho produce steamer Wanaka is to leave Dunedin to-day for Oamaru, 'Tiinaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, to continue loading for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland.
Tho Tiroa, from Gisborne, is still at Hicks Bay. and should leave to-night for other Coast bavs and Auckland.

The Awahou is due in Auckland, on Sunday and load's there on Monday for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay andl fiisborhe.
It is hoped to dispatch the Baden Powell, which has been undergoing repairs, for Napier and Wellington on Monday. The weather has not been favorable to smart voyages being made by sailing vessels coming from northern ports to Gisborne. Three vessels are en route here, the Elsie Mary and Huanui from Auckland, and the War Lord from Whakatane. The S.S. and A. Co’s steamer Waimann. is due at Gisborne from Whakatane on May 6 to lift 1800 bales of wool. 550 boxes of butter, and 900 casks of tallow and pelts.
