Th© sum of £385 in penalties on unpaid rates was collected by the Hawke’s Bay Comity Council for the year ended March 31. The round-the-world exhibition of British-made' goods which is to leave London in the near future, will visit New Zealand, hut at present the intention is that the exhibition ship should only;call at the four centres, i fi meeting of; th© Hastings Chamber of Commerce, it was decided! to ask the Napier Chamber of Commerce to co-operate in an endeavor to have Napier included in the ship’s itinerary.
