RUSH FOR TRAIN SEATS.

When (lie race train for Wellington was pulling into Featlierston station last night,, the large crowd which was waiting to board it made a rush for scats. A young woman named Annie Lyops, aged 27 years, fell beneath one of the cars, and was badly injured. She was immediately extracted and removed to Oreylown hospital, where she now lies in a critical condition. One logl is stated to bo broken find the other severely crushed. Several other passengers were slightly-knocked about in the rush. .
YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH. (per Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. A young woman, Ajmiet Lyons, attempted to board; a moving train at Featlierstou last night and fell under the wheels’, sustaining shocking injuries. One leg was broken and l the other crushed to pulp. She was .admitted to the Grey town hospital and! died at 10 p.m.
