STOLEN GOODS.
<Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Yesterday the police arrested a man named- William Mcßain, for whom they have been searching for some time in connection with the theft of goods from the Wellington Woollen Company. It will be remembered that the secretary’s motor car was stolen from a passage way in which it had been left. It was found later at Island Bay.' In the care of the New Zealand Express Company the police found two neat packages of goods ready to be sent' to a certain address. The contents of the packages proved to be all missing goods and more which had not been reported. The total value rof them is said to be over £2OO. In the possession of Mcßain - when he was arrested was found a loaded revolver.
