PROPOSED “STOCK DRIVE.”
'Die committee of/Chc A. and P. Association met this morning, Mr. G. M. Reynolds (president) in the chair, and Messrs. W. G. Sherratt, C. Fenwick, F. Sherrill, G. B. Smith, M. Holden, J Fivers, A. Wachsmann, C. Williams, R v W. Coop, T. Holden, and W. Perye: uerc also in attendance. The president regretted that there Mere not more members present in view of the important business to be considered. With reference to an exhibit in the blood classes, it was decided that a registered letter be sent to the winner that lie must exhibit proof before March 31, 1923, that Ins exhibit was eligible for the stud book.

They Mere all, he was sure, anxious with him' to place the finances of the Asso-ciation-on a good footing. It was proposed by. Mr. G. M. Reynolds, seconded by Mr. A. S. Wac)ismann, that a stock drive he taken in hand at once, in to raise funds for the Association. —The motion was carried unanimously. 1 Members were, requested to collect the sheep as far as possible and bold them in holding pens for the main drives preceding the sale, the date ot which will he fixed at a later stage. Any stock sent to Mat;uvhero Mill be attended to by Mr. J. Fivers.' The following canvassers Mere appointed to the different localities-Tolaga Rnv (Messrs. G. M. and R. G.: Murphy), Waimata (.Nil-. M. Holden), Kdnaknnaia and Kaitarntahi (Mr. G. C‘. Holdsworth), Whalalutu, Puli a, 1 and Mangatu, (Mr. W. G. Sherratt), Motu, Matawai 'and Rakauroa (Mr. J. Fivers), Otoko, Poututu, and Waikohu (Messrs. E. M. Hutchinson and F. Sherrill'); Tahora, Rene, and Ngatapa (Messrs. V. R. Milford and G. Morieo), Hangaroa (Mr. Ss K. Gillingham), Tmiroto (Mr. J. Machell), Waingake (Messrs G. V. Smith and D. J. Parker), Muriwai and Wharerata (Messrs. R. W. Coopand Car) Williams), I’atutahi (Mr. A. Kirkpatrick), Manutuke (Mcssfs, V C. Gibson and W.
