Ox hinds 4;(d to sd, fores 3d to 3^d; cow hinds 4d to 4j,d, fores 2J,d to 3d.”
Messrs Dal get y and Co., Ltd., advise receipt of the following cable from their London office: London sheepskins sales. —3575 bales Australian and 700 bales of Punta Arenas were offered, and practically all sold. There is a large attendance of buyers. Competition is good and American buyers are operating ireely. As compared with last sales closing rates —Merino J-woolled are Id to 2d higher for fine and medium qualities; merino i-yooiled are Id to •2d higher for fine and medium qualities; x-lired fine and medium full woolled are l.jd to 2d higher; x-brod tine and med. jj-woolled are to 2d higher; x-brett coarse are unchanged; x-bred fine and medium'£-woolled are ljd to 2d higher; x-bred fine and medium short-woolled and shorn pelts tire J>d higher; x-bred lambs are lJjd to 2d higher.
