j SENTENCES AT AUCKLAND. IPer Prp.ja Association.) ! AUCKLAND, last night. I Two prisoners appeared at the Supremo Court to-day for sentence for offences at Tokomaru Bay. Thomas Richard ' Porter was sentenced to two years’ reformative treatment for theft of £147 4s 6d from the Tokomaru Bay Waterside Workers’ Union, of which he was secretary. A Maori youth, Jlauiti Poi, for breaking and entering a dwelling, was placed on probation for two years and ordered to make restitution and pay costs.
