YORKSHIRE VIEWS ON BAWRA POLICY.
i'Elcc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.i (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Jalv 12, 9.L0 a.m.) LONDON, July 11.
The Yorkshire Observer says Bawra's statement is a bullish piece of special pleading (<« justify its policy. Everybody knows that crossbreds have decreased in Argentine and New Zealand, but as a. set-oft there is an increase in Australian merinos. .Moreover the stocks of crossbreds in the hands of the trade are so plentiful (hat Bawra's announcement, has not substantially affected the market. (ts influence is more than counteracted by the chaotic Continental exchanges. In Bradford's opinion Bawra's move wjll have no appreciable effect upon July values, having regard to the. present position of the trade, .stocks, and free wool offering. The Yorkshire Past says holders '-welcome and appreciate Bawra's Withdrawal. of crossbreds, on the ground that the fixture of definite quantities for sale puts the trade in a better position to make buying arrangements.
