SOVIET REFUSES REQUEST FOR INQUIRY.

The Soviet Government refused the Archbishop of Canterbury's request to allow him to send a commission to Russia to enquire into the Soviet Government's alleged seizure of church property, and the attitude towards the church in Russia.
