(Per Press Association.) TRENTHAM, this day. The weather is line, but the going is very heavy for the second day of the Wellington Racing Club's winter meeting. There is a large attendance. Results :

Corunna Hurdles: Nautical 1, Royal Exchange 2, Sir Wai 3. Scratched: Volo, Banogue. Won by half a length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.57. Maiden Handicap: Lady Ridicule 1, Blush 2, Orellana 3. All started. Won easily by eight lengths, a nose between second and third. Time, 1.18 1-5. Jutland Handicap : Miss Gold 1, Backsheesh 2, Astinomo 3. All started. Won by a length, 1£ lengths between second and third. Time, 1.17 4-5. Hack. Steeplechase: Romance 1, Seadown 2, Old Gold 3. Scratched : Staff Officer. Won by two lengths, live lengths between second, and third. Brown Linnet, Hygenas, and Tatton Park fell. Time. 5.52.
