Mrs Ross, who stated that she had sold her house and now had . money to appeal to the Privy Council; tearfully appealed for the reprieve of her son, Colin Ross, to the Attorney-Gen-eral, who said that he could hold out no hope, and she would only waste time and money by attempting to proceed further. Mrs Ross stoutly, protested her son’s innocence.
