EX-EMPEROR'S FUNERAL.

A Reuter's message from Funchal says : The' body of ex-Emperor Karl was conveyed along a route iined with respectful crowds to a- temporary mausoleum at the parish church, where in the presence of members of the Imperial family the local bishop conducted the funeral service. The ex-Emperor's heart has been removed and will be enclosed in a crystal urn within a silver casket and sent to Austria, the body tself going to Hungary. All business was suspended.
