The. Hamilton Borough Council, acting upon the recommendation of the gasworks manager, recently decided to forward some 1Q tons of Waiknlcr lignite coal to England for experimental purposes. If the experiment proves successful, it is expected that it will enable substantial reductions to be made in the price of gas.
