They then went and basked in the sun, all the while keeping a weather eye on the "loaded" cubicle.
In a surprisingly short time two men <■ appeared and were seen to go into the cubicle and "lift the valuables."
A "concerted attack by the three constables followed, and the two men were overpowered and searched. One of them had the "bait" on him!, while the other was wearing ft tramway pass, which, at the police station, became the connect-ing-link tc a number of robberies perpetrated at Manly a little, time, previously- _ . .' Three charges of breaking -and entering were preferred against the two men, and- when inquiries had been made the total;value* of the articles /recovered amounted Theijpolice believe-that th? arrests will assist in clearing up a series of robberies committed lately at Manly.
