The trial has begun at Montreal of Father Delorme, charged with tho murder'of his half-brother. Counsel for tho defence asked for an examination of his client's sanity.
A sensation was caused by the arrest of Abbe Delorme, a leading Catholic priest, who is charged with tho murder of his brother, aged 22. He is accused of having insured the life of the youth, Raoul, for £SOOO, and o r killing him four days later. *Tho body with six bullet holes was found in n snowdrift, where it had evidently been pitched from an automobile. Father Delorme is alleged toj have influenced his brother during past years, getting him to draw up a favorable will, so that ho could collect the insurance.
