MURDER OF A SERGEANT.
BOMBS IN BELFAST.

Seven or eight men surrounded Sergt. Clarke in Falls rpad, Belfast", when returning from a Whippet meeting. They discharged their revolvers into him, killing him instantly. Two bombs were thrown in Belfast. One thrown in Foundry street injured 12 people, including four women and two young children. The other was flung in Sussex street without result. KIDNAPPERS SENTENCED. (Received March 15, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. Mr. Justice AVilson, at Fermanagh Assizes, sentenced 11 Sinn Fein leaders for wholesale kidnappings in Ulster to periods of penal servitude , ranging from ten to five vears.
