A crisis has arisen in Northern Union football, owing to the action of the Players' Union in passing a resolution declining to play against any who are not members of tho union. In reply to this threat tho Northern Union Council adopted a resolution requiring the Players' Union to withdraw their resolution, failing which the Council will not entertain further negotiations with the Players' Union.
