Tho value of imports into Britain during February, compared with* the corresponding period of last year, decreased by £27,635,579, and the exports by £91,886,621. Re-exports increased by £2,169,857. Tlio principal decreases were: In imports, meat £6,380,163, grain and flour £3,282,860, other non-dutiable food and drink £8,253,836, steel £2,269,995; in exports, cotton, yarns and manufactures £6,690,333, iron and steel £2,557,206, woollen and worsted yarns £1,867,603. The principal increases are: In imports, dutiable food, drink £2,537,131; in exports, vehicles, including locomotives, ships, aiid aircraft, £5,576,717. Tlio lead imports last month totalled 15,981 tons, «of which 667 S came from Australia. Tho exports amounted to 5325 tons.
