WEDDING.

HUMPHREYS— BARKER

A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Holy Trinity Church this morning, when l*esley Millicent, second daughter of Mr W. R. Barker, of Gisborne, was united i in the bonds of holy matrimony to Frederick Ensor, eldest son of Mr and Mrs G. W. Humphreys, Stratballan. The service was conducted by the Rev. Canon Packe. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a grey silk stockingefte frock, embroidered in grey and wearing a black lace hat. The bridegroom was attended by Mr G. Cotterill, as best man. After the ceremony an adjournment was made to the residence of the bride’s father, where a small number of relatives and intimate friends congratulated the happy couple. ' The latter leave this afternoon for Roto- ' rua on their honeymoon. The bride ■wore a smart black going away costume, with a small black toque with silver lace trimmings.
