The lion.' ,T. G. Anderson, Minister of Pensions, infonned the House on Saturday that during the recess he proposes to go into the question of anomalies in the pensions system, with a view to legislation nest session. He was dubious, however, whether anomalies could he entirely prevented, for the remedying of one seemed, he said, to create another. A reminder of the claims of the blind drew from the Minister a reply that while ho was sympathetic, the financial position prevented the Government Irom giving effect to the proposal.
