Tn gratitude for the Navy's war work, Q. S. Heave, of Rotorua, has given the Admiralty Holbrook estate, valued at £30,000. An Oxford undergraduate has confessed that he sent chocolates to the Vice-Chancellor, dusted with powdered glass. Ho pleaded that ho did not know it was dangerous to life. He has been granted a pardon.
