lElec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.!

(Received 1 February 6, 1.10 p.m.) CAPETOWN, Feb. 5

It is freely announced that the strikers have arranged l for all commandoes to concentrate over the whole Reef on Monday with a view to preventing continuance of essential services by force, if necessary.

The chairman of the mass meeting, held this afternoon, intimated that despite negotiations with General Smuts, all strikers must obey orders and pull out all non-unionists they could. Should the proposal eventuate the position will become very serious, but 'the moderate section strongly oppose the move, which they regard as madness.
