Customs decreased £1.087,146 and other items, excepting beer duty and miscellaneous also decreased. ’ The expenditure was £8.002,239. This included half a million transferred to the Public Works fund at the beginning of the quarter. The balance in hand was £3,893.924. At the end of the quarter it- was £2.156.347.
