CHARGE OF BURGLARY.
Per Pees? Awnrifttlon I v WAIHI, last night. A young man, named John McLean! was arrested here yesterday and charged with breaking and entering tho Paeroa railway station and removing a number of hand-bags, and also with tho theft of a brief bag containing £l9, and sundry articles, from an hotel in Te Aroha. The money, hidden in tho pre chiefs of a lodging house in Waihi, was recovered by tbo police. Accused was formally charged this afternoon, and remanded till August 18.
