• Arnsl this morning deposited £25 with Mr. It. P. Furnoss, proprietor of the Marlborough Express, covering Iladfield's deposit for the world's sculling championship to be rowed either on the Wanganui or Wairan rivers. The-cham-pion prefers the Wairau, but nothing has been definitely fixed. Arnst starts training here immediately for the contest, which is ro take place about three months hence,
