In reference to the Board's application for authority to pay seven per cent, interest on the bank overdraft act-ing-Prime Minister advised that the request would have early consideration. The impounding!* for the mouth of July were six head of horses and cattle. Instructions were, given to the clerk to lay an information in reject to one second offence of allowing stock t<> stray on the road. The building permits issued for July totalled £B6O. Thirteen licenses had been issued lo carriers and milk vendors. ; The Board decided'to specify a date. to be advertised, later, for the removal of all rubbish accumulations from dwellings by the Board's rubbish cart.
