At the Westfield beef market all classes showed a decided tendency to ease. Quotations are as follows: Extra prime ox £1 16s, prime £1 15s to £1 9s, plain and ordinary £1 7s to 20s: cows, extra choice £1 7s to £1 Is, choice £1 15s, plain 15s to 10s. Sheep : A large yarding, mostly unfinished, both wethers and ewes. • Extra prime wethers 255, prime 23s Cd to 20s, plain 19s to 15s 6d. Ewes: Extra heavy 20s. prime 18s to 14s, plain 12s 6d to Bs.' Calves: A fair yarding, and prices about the same as last week. Runners £6 to £4 10s. vealers £4 10s to £2 10r. fresh dropped 10s h ss. Bigs : A medium yarding, and price easier. Baconers £6 to £5. choppers £6 to £5, porkers £4 10s to £2 IGs. store? neglected.
LONDON TALLOW SALES. Messrs Dalgefy and Co., Ltd.,' have received the following cable from (heir London office:—"At the talloft- Kile** 1700 casks were offered and practically all sold a|, prices ranging from 5s to 7s 6d per cwt. dearer. Fine mutton 48s to 495, good mixed 45s 6d to 465, fine beef 51s,'and gut 39s per cwt."
