Bay Hockey Club inquiring what the Poverty Bay Association proposed with, regard to the visit of a Poverty Bay representative team to Tolaga Bay. The association decided to suggest send ing a team to : th'e township to play or Thursday, • August 25: -The secretary ntid selectors were lo ascertain wiie would be at liberty to go to Tolaga Bay. A report of the Coast trip was made by the "secretary, who specially men tioned the hospitable manner in which the visjtors Had been received every ' where. \Votes of thanks for their efforts in connection with the billeting of playera were accorded to Mr Wm. Cute?, H eert'r., and Miss C. Outers. Vot.es of thanks were also passed te Mr Doolan, who acted ns secretary while Mr Stubbings was away up the Coast; to Mr A. The Auckland Hockey Association advised that an' Auckland representative :team would at Gisborne from the furmer city 'on Wednesday, August 17.
