PETONE DISPUTE.
WATERSIDE WOKKERB’ RITPOHT. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last nigh!. The Petone gasworks dispute was discussed at it stop-work meeting of the Wellington waterside: workers. Members were given a full report' of the recent combined conference of Labor unions, and the present position was reported upon by-the president, .Mr. Glover. A decision to give financial and moral support to the workers, who it is alleged are locked out. was endorsed. The meeting decided to vote £2o in aid of the wives and children, and also de-i.-idrd to take up a bucket collection next Friday, members of the union, to refit r Unite such voluntary amounts as they can spare.
