lElec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Australian and N.Z Cable Association.! LONDON, June 9. The Daily Telegraph correspondent slated that serious friction has arisen between Mr Massey and the Home Government authorities over New Zealand’s claims in regard to wool surplus profits. Mr Massey, interviewed by the Telegraph, gave the whole facts: "The New Zealand producers are only asking what is reasonable. They claim that the Im-. perial Government’s proposals are not carrying out the spirit of the agree-. v ments. I must say I agree with them, bat I know nothing of serious friction. Throughout the war period the business relations of the two Governments were of the pleasantest character. I am confident the difficulty will bo settled satisfactorily.”
