Tin trouble which threatened in the mining industry owing to the owners ui the Brighton mine, Nightcaps, notifying the miners of a reduction of 2s per toil in the hewing rate as from July 6, has been averted. The secretary of the local union informed the Miners’ Federation that the company agrees to continue the old hewing rate.
