UNEMPLOYMENT IN VICTORIA.
MELBOURNE, May 31.—Considerably over 10,000 workers are out of employment. in Victoria. They include 5000 members of the A.W.U.,' 500 timber workers, 500 rubber workers, 800 wool workers, 200 butchers’ employees, 300 carpenters, 200 tanners and leather dressers, 200 flour mill employees, and 300 brick and tile employees. The main cause of unemployment is stated to be tlie slump in trade.
