BOOKING FOR. BIG FIGHT
YAXCOCVEK, June I.—Booking for the light between Dempsey and Carpentier cm July 2 has already broken all box-office records. Tex Kickard, the promoter, has announced that the receipts so far total 575,(1C0 dollars, as compared with 452,CC0 dollars for the Demp-sey-Willard fight- two years ago.
The demand for tickets is so heavy that Tex Rickard has conferred with the contractors to ascertain if the seating capacity could be enlarged to provide for 100,010.
Vast blocks of seats have been grab--1 ed by “s alpers,” who already refuse to listen to a ICO-dollar bid for a EO-dollar seat-.
Dempsey is starting bard training this morning with a six-mile run. )
