The. Arahura was tendered tit 7,0 clock , last night with the launch for outward 1 passengers and left til 10.15 o’clock for j Napier, at which port she arrived a I 7 i o'clock this morning. The si earner is \ timed to leave Napier at 8 o'clock Inuight on Hie return trip to Gisborne. She is to he tendered at this port at 6 a.m. to-morrow with the launch for inward I passengers. The only launch for outward passengers is fixed to leave the wharf at 10 o'clock to-morrow morning, after which the Arnhura later proceeds on to Auckland direct, omitting Tokonnmi Bay. The Kowhai finished discharging coal at Gisborne, and sailed at 9.15 o'clock fast night for Picton direct. At the latter port she is to load chaff for Wellington. The Knliikn is still to load coal at Greymoulh about Monday next for Gisborne. and Napier. The- New Zealand Shipping Co.’s steamer Wlinkatanc is to finish loading at Gisborne to-night. The steamer then proceeds to Wellington direct and is to leave there finally about June 22 for London. ' The KiLlawa is expected to get away from Westport at midnight to-night with coal for Napier and Gisborne. 1( has now been decided that this si earner is to call at Napier first, instead of coming to Gisborne direct, as was originally intended. From the Hawke's Bay port she comes on here to continue discharge. The Tarawera is still expected to leave Dunedin on June 15 for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to continue loading southern produce for Napier and Gisborne. The vessel is expected to arrive at 'Gisborne on June 20. The Blackball Coal C’o.'s collier Xgukuta is to leave Tokoniaru Bav to-night to return to Gisborne. Here, to-nior-row, she. continues the. discharge of her coal cargo, and upon completion sails for Lyttelton. The N.Z. Shipping Co., advise that the steamer Peshawar is due at Wellington next Tuesday from London via Panama. The liner Taintii left Colon on June 3 for Southampton and London, on route from Wellington. The vessel left Wellington mi May 12. The Tiron was dispatched, from Auckland at 5.10. o'clock yesterday afternoon loaded with general cargo for Hicks, Tokomaru, and Tolaga Bays, and Gisborne. The mix. schooner Fairhurn was loading timber at Gisborne to-day for Wairoa, and is expected to set sail to-; morrow night- for the latter port. The three-masted topsail schooner War Lord should finish loading timber ami general cargo at Gisborne to day. I The steamer Inga left Oncrahi at 4.50 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after hav--1 ing replenished her water and bunker supplies, for Gisborne. The vessel, which ;is bringing approximately 1200 tons ut jeoal for this port from Newcastle, is ! expected to arrive at Gisborne early ioj morrow morning in readiness to comjmenec discharge. It is anticipated, as '! already announced in this column, that] .after lightering a portion of the Inga’s j cargo the vessel will be berthed at the wharf to finish unloading. TO LOAD AT GISBORNE. The N.Z. Shipping Co. advise that the 1 s.s. Kaikoura is due at Gisborne about | Thursday next to load frozen meat for \ London and also any general cargo jj offering. Upon completion here the I steamer is to proceed to Tokomaru Bay, | and Napier to continue taking in cargo.

The Woodarra. is to follow the Kaikoura on the loading berth at. Gisborne a few days after (he latter vessel’s departure from here. The Woodarra is also to load frozen meat at this port.

THE KETCH TIC A NCI. The repairs to the ketch Huanui are proceeding under (lie supervision of Mr. Sharp, of Messrs. W. W. 11. Bvown and Sons (Auckland) staff. The sheathing, which has been pulled oil', is to be replaced by tntara. sheathing sent from Auckland for the purpose. It is thought that the repairs will be finished in about a fortnight's time.

. Captain Stevens has been appointed to the. position of master ol' the Jluanui, vice Die late Captain Anderson. Captain Stevens, who has been on a scow trading out of Auckland, is expected to arrive in Gisborne next week.
